Tsunami Win Tasks 5 Pro Review
Spyware, viruses, and worms - the scourge of anyone that uses the Internet in recent years. Anyone that runs a PC connected to the Internet is at risk from this trio of undesirables - and their consequences range from minor irritation to catastrophe. Usually they are installed over security gaps in the system and do their dirty work secretly - without being noticed at all, since the software process runs along simply in the background.
Those of tech savvy can hunt them down and terminate them using the Windows Task Manager and RegEdit on a short or long-term basis - but most of us cannot be sure of the names of the different Windows processes, let alone which are safe to remove. Telling the difference between a malicious and completely harmless process can be very difficult without doing lengthy and tedious research - especially when processes can be very unhelpfully-named...
 The bog-standard Windows Task Manager
Hands up who knows what processes SMSS.EXE or CSRSS.EXE are, and what they do? Well the terminally techie amongst you might have told me that they are the Session Manager Subsystem and Microsoft Client/Server Runtime Server Subsystem, but as for me - I had to refer to the piece of software I`m about to review!
Now in its fifth version - WinTasks Professional dedicates itself to exactly this problem and provides the user with complete control and security over their system. All processes normally indicated in the Windows Task Manager are able to be listed and explained in good detail - and if necessary be stopped and/or also blocked. With WinTasks 5 Professional the user no longer gropes in the dark when maintaining their computer and thwarting spyware and other unpleasant software. On the next few pages I will go over the various functions and screens contained in the WinTasks 5 program. I hope you find it useful!
